All the Places to Shop in Jaipur, Rajasthan

Jaipur—otherwise known as the Pink City, the jewel of the desert or, arguably most important,*the* place for shopping in India. Don't believe us? Even Western brand Free People couldn't resist the desert city's allure, basing much of their 2014 campaign (ft. Indian-born actress Freida Pinto!) in the breathtaking locale.

Amongst the bustling streets and breathtaking palaces of Rajasthan's largest city, resides some of the best markets, shops and vendors in India, with unique and affordable wares. While it's easier than ever to bring the market directly to you—thanks to ShopBollyWear.com—nothing beats being immersed in the IRL hustle and bustle of the markets and surrounded by drool-inducing aromas of the chai vendors.

Planning on taking a trip to the desert state? Or just want an idea of where your gorgeous ethnic wear pieces, jewelry and designer sarees are coming from? ShopBollyWear owner Nila Chakraborty takes you behind the scenes, as she travels through Jaipur to some of her favourite shopping destinations (the best sights in the city, besides the Hawa Mahal, of course!).
